BHE 099 - OBJECTIVE PERSONALITY THEORY [PART 1]
This week we’re getting into a mbti personality system called Objective Personality (OPS). We ended up doing a rough intro into the basic concepts of OPS, and how we might explore connections between cognitive functions and the enneagram.

Ah no. My first impression was wrong. Ive read up on it now & I conclude that it is basically reinventing the wheel on/independently rediscovering socionics’ inert vs contact subtype just with sillier names. It is real tho its why some ppl ate more obviously introverts or extroverts than others. I am going to keep using the terminology that does not involve animals. Though it is inresting to conceptualize it as different processes like that.

Never mind there is a website compiling it which is amusingly titled ”subjective personality”... they have at least *some* good ideas . I just wish they hadnt given everything such Silly names I do think I relate to this blast thing whenever I learn something I imediately want to explain it to everyone who might have need of it

If you wanna check out socionics & evaluate how much it does or doesnt line up with OP its all on wikisocion.org its a whole separate branch based on the same basic work by jung Though i dont put much stock in the idea of there being like 1 designated correct attraction. Way too deterministic

It was ineresting to hear you guys talk about mbti - but are you guys aware of socionics? Gulenko had alrwasy sone spmething about a polarity within the functions (he called it plus and minus versions of the functions) it seems like this OP stuff is kind of reinventing the wheel on a lot of this but giving it more sensationalistic sounding names. I am very wary of calling anything feminine or masculine that is not to do with peeing or reproduction. If women can have it how is it masculine?
